This role presents a remarkable chance for an innovative and strategic leader to oversee the premier Horizons initiative at New Canaan Country School (NCCS).

The Chief Program Officer will establish the overarching strategy for Horizons at NCCS, cultivate and manage a high-achieving team of six, along with a summer workforce exceeding 100 individuals, while fostering relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders including students, families, educators, board members, alumni, benefactors, and both national and local collaborators.

As a component of New Canaan Country School, Horizons at NCCS enjoys the advantages of the extensive resources available at NCCS, encompassing physical, human, financial, and community assets.

This pivotal position reports directly to the Head of School at NCCS, in collaboration with the Chair of the Horizons at NCCS Board.

The Chief Program Officer is strategically positioned to further the organization’s mission of transforming the lives of underprivileged children and youth through comprehensive year-round educational and enrichment programs designed to inspire learning, promote success, and bridge the opportunity divide.
