Cooper University Health Care is a dynamic healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and innovative medical solutions. We are seeking an experienced Diet Office Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing outstanding care to our patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of patient diet orders, taking patient calls for room service, and guiding them through their meal choices according to their diets. You will also be expected to solve customer problems, treat customers with dignity and respect, and respond quickly to customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current records of patient diet orders
  • Take patient calls for room service and guide them through choices in accordance with their diets
  • Solve customer problems, treat customers with dignity and respect, and respond quickly to customer needs
  • Process Room Service customer orders, including patient/family-initiated orders and those patients needing assistance
  • Take phone calls and fax orders for all food requests
  • Coordinate processing of AM and PM nourishment orders and print AM and PM nourishment labels

Requirements:

A High School diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Salary Range:$42,000 - $52,000 per year, based on location and experience.
