Job Description

Brightspeed is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end system solutions for our telecom suite of applications. Your expertise will be crucial in defining the roadmap for migrating provisioning applications from one platform to another, and leading your team to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the technical roadmap for migrating provisioning applications and lead the team to achieve business goals
  • Lead the team in implementing solutions for optimal performance, scalability, and stability
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure the team meets key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with senior management to analyze long-term business goals and suggest ways to achieve them with technology
  • Guide team members in assessing system usage trends and identifying potential performance constraints
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years of experience leading a team of 5 or more in the telecom domain
  • 8+ years of experience in Java microservices development, including troubleshooting various environment issues
  • 4+ years of experience with Micro Services and domain-driven design
  • 3+ years of experience with one of the major cloud providers (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
  • Experience leading solution architecture lifecycle, including concept, design, prototyping, integration, testing, and production release
  • Experience working in Telecom provisioning/billing and Fiber solutions
  • Experience implementing telecom products and services, such as Voice/VOIP, Broadband services
  • Experience implementing BPM/Workflow/Orchestration tools
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a laser focus on delivering results
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing multiple clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional projects
  • Ability to exercise judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Provide industry knowledge, experience, and best practices to help the team stay ahead of the curve in keeping our technology stack cutting edge
Preferred Qualifications
  • Java and Cloud (GCP/Azure/AWS) Certifications
  • Experience in FTTP provisioning and activation domain
  • Mongo DB experience
