Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Lead, E/W Order Orchestration to spearhead end-to-end system solutions for the Brightspeed telecom application suite. As a pivotal member of our IT division, you will oversee system solutions in order fulfillment orchestration, inventory management, provisioning, and billing sectors. This role presents an exciting opportunity to guide the team through every facet of the customer order fulfillment journey across the entire provisioning lifecycle.

In this position, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise to create scalable solutions that support intricate business processes. If you are enthusiastic about leading a team in the migration of applications within the Order Fulfillment domain, executing tasks efficiently, understanding and refining requirements, guiding a team of developers, collaborating with business partners and stakeholders, and achieving operational excellence, Brightspeed is the ideal environment for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the strategic roadmap, comprehend the end-to-end process of migrating provisioning applications across platforms, and lead the team in achieving business objectives while resolving operational challenges.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of requirements to align with business goals.
  • Direct the team in implementing solutions proposed by architects to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Define operational processes and ensure adherence to meet established KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to analyze long-term business objectives and recommend technological solutions to achieve these goals.
  • Guide team members in evaluating system usage trends and identifying potential performance bottlenecks in inter-system processes.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Over 12 years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing teams of 5 or more within the telecom sector.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Java microservices development, with proficiency in troubleshooting various environmental issues.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with Microservices and domain-driven design.
  • 3+ years of experience with major cloud providers such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Experience in leading the solution architecture lifecycle, including concept development, design, prototyping, integration, testing, and production deployment.
  • Familiarity with telecom provisioning, billing, and fiber solutions.
  • Experience in implementing telecom products and services, including Voice/VOIP and Broadband services.
  • Experience with BPM, Workflow, and Orchestration tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional projects.
  • Capability to exercise sound judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving results.
  • Provide industry insights, experience, and best practices to keep the team at the forefront of technology advancements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Java and Cloud (GCP/Azure/AWS).
  • Experience in FTTP provisioning and activation domains.
