**Job Title:** Certified Nursing Assistant I

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant I to join our team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to patients, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist with transferring and transporting patients as needed.
  • Orient new patients to the hospital environment and routine.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and respectful work environment.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Lifting, moving, and loading up to 50 pounds as part of regular duties.
  • Ability to work alternate shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits:

A competitive salary range of $25-$30 per hour is offered, commensurate with experience.
