Job Title: Category Lead/ Sourcing Manager

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Beaverton, OR

Job Description:

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure that sourcing strategies and resources align with business goals and project needs.
  • Lead negotiations to secure optimal pricing, concessions, and terms & conditions, meeting both cost-saving and spending targets.
  • Negotiate, draft, and review governing agreements, work orders, and other contractual documents.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as privacy, legal, risk, compliance, and security to conduct due diligence as needed.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify new sourcing opportunities within categories, creating a robust pipeline to drive commercial value for the organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and research, staying current on trends, emerging technologies, supplier capabilities, and competitive landscapes to develop informed market perspectives.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and trends relevant to your responsibilities.
  • Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with global stakeholders and business partners.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure market competitiveness, supply chain assurance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage and develop key suppliers using Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tools and industry best practices.
  • Track and assess progress to ensure savings and performance goals are met.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced expertise in sourcing within Marketing categories.
  • 8-10 years of experience in marketing procurement, with CPM certification being a plus.
  • Proven ability to leverage data to inform business decisions.
  • Experience in collaborating across functions to define and drive shared visions, leading to actionable strategies and priorities.
  • Strong discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, independent, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously within established timelines.
  • Positive attitude, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to meet critical deadlines.
