Your Role: As the Vice President of Asset Management (East), you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting our Asset Manager and Asset Director teams within our Eastern region. Your leadership will be essential in the execution of strategies, policies, and initiatives for our multi-family properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Bell Sponsored assets throughout their entire hold period.
  • Facilitate the transition from the Investment Team and provide insights on underwriting.
  • Execute strategic capital expenditure plans.
  • Manage performance proactively, offering benchmarks and guidance to operational teams.
  • Address reactive project management needs, including casualty events and deviations from underwriting.
  • Act as the primary representative for investor communications.
  • Conduct quarterly reporting and investor tours, as well as assist with annual budgets.
  • Support prospective investors through tours and meetings.
  • Utilize data research and internal resources to monitor asset performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations and Fund Accounting to address inquiries and provide property highlights.
  • Engage in problem-solving for issues affecting cash flow, working closely with Operations and Financial Services.
  • Guide the approval process for annual operating and capital budgets for all assets.
  • Identify opportunities for value enhancement, including renovation programs and expense reductions.
  • Participate in capital expenditure analysis for significant proposals.
  • Assist with additional tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate.
  • Demonstrated alignment with Bell Core Values and company culture.
  • Flexibility in working hours and travel as necessary.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning and execution.
