Position Overview
The Senior Vice President of Financial Operations is a pivotal role within CALIBRE Systems, responsible for overseeing the Finance and Accounting Directorate. This executive position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and plays a crucial part in shaping the financial strategy of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to develop and implement financial strategies that promote company growth and sustainability.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and provide leadership and mentorship to the Finance and Accounting team.
- Enhance the operational capabilities of the Finance and Accounting Directorate by developing processes and fostering professional growth among team members.
- Manage financial systems and devise strategies for effective administration of financial activities, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
- Supervise the Finance and Accounting Director to achieve corporate objectives and manage the workload effectively.
- Formulate and execute financial strategies to support daily operations and long-term goals.
- Design and oversee financial systems, ensuring seamless integration with ancillary systems.
- Provide essential reporting to internal stakeholders, including management and senior leadership.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and manage vendor partnerships.
- Oversee the annual budgeting process and conduct financial analyses.
- Present financial insights to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
- Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, advising corporate leadership on potential opportunities.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's reputation and integrity.

Required Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an MBA from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Extensive experience in accounting, with a focus on government contract accounting (15-20 years, including 10-15 years in a leadership role).
- Proficiency in Deltek CostPoint and a strong understanding of financial regulations.
