Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Jim 'N Nick's. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide direction, coaching, and training to assistant managers and team members to ensure excellent food quality, service standards, and safety and sanitation practices.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance, including sales growth, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the management of restaurant inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of supplies.
    • Ensure effective scheduling and labor management to meet business needs and control costs.
    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage restaurant budgets, including forecasting, inventory control, and cost management.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required; some college preferred.
    • Three to five years of high-volume full-service restaurant management experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Exceptional leadership and motivational skills required.
    • Ability to attract, train, develop, and retain top-performing team members.
    • Strong guest service focus with the ability to provide an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
    • Ability to define, measure, and attain financial goals for the restaurant, with a focus on year-over-year sales growth, guest count increases, effective staffing levels, guest service measurements, cost of goods, and labor cost management.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the job.
