Security Professional for Behavioral Health

As a Security Professional for Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for providing proactive violence prevention and training to support the basic mission of the Inpatient Psychiatry Units, VTCC, and VCU Health. This includes de-escalating agitated patients, evaluating ways to enhance safety and customer service, and developing patient management strategies.
In this critical role, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team to prevent potentially risky and/or violent situations. Your ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment will be essential to success.
We are seeking an experienced security professional with a minimum of three years of experience in security, public safety, or law enforcement. A valid Virginia Driver's License and acceptable driving record are required for this position.
