We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team at Richmond Behavioral Health Authority.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing support and care to individuals with behavioral health needs. As a Behavioral Health Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs, either directly or indirectly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia (if applicable).
