Job Title: Accountant

At River Run, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting our company's general business activities and reporting to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, process payroll, and assist clients with invoicing and billing questions.
  • Process daily check receipts and remote deposits, and work with clients on invoicing and billing questions.
  • Closely monitor accounts receivable, contact clients via email and phone regarding past due invoices, and advise payment options.
  • Pay vendor bills via check, ACH, or vendor payment portal, and handle vendor requests.
  • Enter positive pay information, manage ACH exceptions, and process semi-monthly payroll and year-end checklist.
  • Process monthly employee expense reimbursement, prepare and distribute monthly sales commission reports, and file monthly Sales/Use Tax Report.
  • Assist with month-end closing as needed, perform monthly credit card reconciliation, and perform monthly bank reconciliations for two companies.
  • Coordinate with the insurance agency for yearly payroll audit and perform other duties as requested.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of ConnectWise is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products and QuickBooks.
  • Client service attitude with excellent interaction skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Transportation:

A reliable car, valid driver's license, and valid vehicle insurance are required.
