Job Title: Bilingual Program Facilitator

Families First is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Program Facilitator to lead interactive workshops and programs for parents and caregivers in Western Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development, family engagement, and community outreach.

Job Summary:

The Bilingual Program Facilitator will be responsible for delivering programs and workshops to parents and caregivers in a variety of settings, including schools, community centers, and housing developments. The facilitator will work closely with Families First staff to develop and implement program curricula, recruit and engage participants, and evaluate program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead interactive workshops and programs for parents and caregivers on topics such as early childhood development, parenting styles, and community engagement.
  • Develop and implement program curricula in collaboration with Families First staff.
  • Recruit and engage participants for programs and workshops.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with Families First staff to ensure program alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in program facilitation, community outreach, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, family engagement, and community outreach principles.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including parents and caregivers from low-income backgrounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and one or more of the following languages: Spanish, Haitian Creole, Simplified Chinese, or Portuguese.
