Job Summary:

RFK Community Alliance is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Survivor Support Specialist to join our Legacy Mentoring Program team in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate will have a personal history as a survivor of commercial sexual exploitation as an adolescent or young adult and be passionate about providing one-on-one support and mentoring to adolescent youth who have been commercially sexually exploited.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly, biweekly, or monthly meetings with each assigned youth, lasting 1-3 hours.
  • Work collaboratively with other mentoring team members to develop an appropriate support service, education, and treatment plan for each assigned youth.
  • Attend supervision meetings with Legacy Program Coordinator and staff meetings.
  • Co-facilitate exploitation prevention groups with adolescent youth in schools, group homes, etc.

Requirements:

  • Personal history as a survivor of commercial sexual exploitation as an adolescent or young adult.
  • Experience and knowledge working with LGBTQI+ youth, preferred.
  • A current driver's license and access to a car.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred.
