Position Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic organization. We are looking for a forward-thinking Chef Manager to lead our culinary and food service operations. You will collaborate with the Director of Dining Services to ensure a thriving community environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the complete culinary management of the food service operation, including inventory management, ordering, and receiving.
  • Possess knowledge of P&L accountability and experience in contract-managed services.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in menu creation, cost control, purchasing, and inventory management, with an emphasis on sourcing local food products.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to sustainability practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with HACCP principles.
  • A minimum of three years of culinary management experience in contract food service, fine dining, or restaurant settings, with a focus on inventory and purchasing.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and catering trends, emphasizing quality, production, sanitation, food cost management, and presentation.
  • Experience in exposition cooking is required.
  • ServSafe certification is advantageous.
