Position Overview

Screw Machine Setup / Operation

The selected individual will be responsible for the setup and operation of screw machines, adhering to current ISO standards, safety protocols, and 5-S methodologies.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Operate screw machines, which includes loading bar stock, replenishing fluids, and clearing chips from the machinery.
  • Conduct setups on screw machines, involving tooling changes, sharpening tools, and making necessary adjustments to maintain compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Assist fellow operators with tool changes, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
  • Support the training of new personnel on the operation and setup of screw machines.

  • Mechanical aptitude - The individual should possess strong skills with tools and machinery, demonstrating adaptability in resolving both familiar and unfamiliar issues.
