Job Title: Senior Director/Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director/Director to lead our Research & Development efforts in General Account Investing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative investment strategies to enhance portfolio performance and return on capital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute fundamental analysis across various asset classes to identify scalable investment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to create and implement innovative investment strategies to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Work with Portfolio Management and other OCIO teams to understand general account goals, constraints, and investment objectives.
  • Develop a comprehensive analytical framework to evaluate investment opportunities and prioritize them for inclusion in investment analysis.
  • Present investment strategies, research findings, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA, CAIA) are preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Extensive experience in insurance general account investing, with a strong understanding of balance sheet management, capital, and risk constraints.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative investment strategies across multiple asset classes, with a focus on private assets and complex structures.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a track record of developing comprehensive analytical frameworks for investment evaluation.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior management and other stakeholders.
