Job Title: Director, Investor Development and Early Career Investors

As a key member of the Investment Enablement team, you will lead our efforts to build out a holistic learning and development program for investment professionals throughout their lifecycle, from new analysts to seasoned portfolio managers. In collaboration with investment leaders and the talent acquisition team, you will identify and nurture investment talent for the firm while raising the profile of our brand in the early career recruiting market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a learning and development strategic plan for the full lifecycle of an investor
  • Provide leadership for the Capital Associates Program (CAP), utilizing best practices within the early career and investor development space
  • Identify, prioritize, and evaluate key Learning and Development initiatives for Investors at Capital
  • Monitor and assess the overall effectiveness of the current learning and development programs, adjusting as necessary to achieve the desired outcomes
  • Manage a team that includes associates rotating through the early career program
Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Master's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive talent development experience
  • Early career program management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years working in the financial services industry, preferably with direct investor/research experience (buy or sell side)
  • Experience developing a learning and development strategy, influencing investors and leaders across the organization, and executing for measurable results

  • Passion for learning and development, with expert knowledge of the early career and investment research space
  • Energetic and action-oriented, with the ability to create excitement around a compelling vision in a collaborative, team-oriented fashion
  • Ability to cut through complexity and ambiguity, prioritize effectively, set clear goals, and operate in an agile fashion
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute work across broad, diverse stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to influence strategy and lead by example
