Your Role:As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications utilizing Python and PostgreSQL. You will work collaboratively with various teams to implement innovative features that support our strategic objectives. We provide a flexible work environment, enabling a blend of in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications leveraging Python and PostgreSQL.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of new functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform ideas into reality.
  • Enhance application performance and security.
  • Guide junior developers and promote coding best practices.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in Python and PostgreSQL.
  • Diagnose and upgrade software as needed.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development (or equivalent educational background).
  • 7+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, including 3+ years with Python.
  • Deep understanding of best practices in Python and PostgreSQL.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, testing frameworks, and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a dedication to producing clean code.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with open-source contributions.
  • Integration experience with various systems.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI.
