Job Overview

In light of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to become a vital member of our team during the day shift.

The Field Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in our operational success. This position entails overseeing daily activities of personnel at either a large facility or multiple smaller locations, ensuring the prompt, precise, and high-quality delivery of products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide, develop, and support team members through onboarding, open dialogue, training, and performance management processes; foster and sustain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is adequately staffed with the necessary skills.
  • Oversee backorder reports and production timelines, coordinating resources to minimize backorders while ensuring the overall quality of delivered items.
  • Facilitate inventory transfers and production orders to align with established production schedules and service expectations.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation, complete required tasks, and electronically receive finished products. Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Meet customer needs and expectations by maintaining product quality, inventory levels, and staff interactions that align with or surpass expectations. Conduct site audits and annual physical inventories. Regularly engage with management, sales, and customers regarding functional areas.
  • Mentor and develop staff through onboarding, open communication, training, and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
  • Travel to new site locations within the region to train staff, establish procedures, and assess customer needs.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is highly advantageous.
  • Experience within a healthcare environment.
