The EEE Parts Specialist will provide essential support for various aerospace projects. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team of engineers focused on Electrical, Electronic, and Electromagnetic (EEE) components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly report to the Electronics and Electrical Section Manager within a dynamic engineering group.
  • Deliver expert support for EEE parts related to critical space missions.
  • Assess proposed EEE parts lists based on specific project requirements and environmental conditions.
  • Document and present findings on manufacturers, materials, construction, and reliability of selected components to the EEE parts control board.
  • Advise on alternative EEE parts when necessary.
  • Assist in investigations related to EEE parts failures.
  • Review military and industry specifications for EEE components applicable to aerospace programs.
  • Contribute to the creation of EEE part qualification plans and project-specific screening criteria.
  • Support the preparation and dissemination of advisories and alerts relevant to EEE components.
  • Engage in laboratory work as required, adhering to established protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

This position is open at various levels, and candidates will be considered based on their experience and qualifications.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required due to the nature of the work.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering is essential, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in design reviews, product development, and failure analysis is necessary.
  • Familiarity with component selection and qualification processes for space applications is required.
  • Experience providing technical support to material review boards is preferred.
  • Involvement in EEE-related project activities, including documentation and specification reviews, is beneficial.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This position follows a 9/80 work schedule, allowing for every other Friday off.
  • Some travel may be required.
BACKGROUND CHECKS:

All employees must successfully complete a national agency check, with some roles requiring additional clearance.

DRUG TESTING:

Pre-employment drug screening is mandatory, with some contracts necessitating participation in random testing programs.
