KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to the Electronics and Electrical Section Manager, collaborating with a diverse group of engineers.
- Deliver expert support for Electrical, Electronic, and Electromagnetic (EEE) components in various projects.
- Assess proposed EEE Parts lists based on project-specific hardware requirements and environmental conditions.
- Provide detailed reports on manufacturers, materials, construction, and reliability of selected components to the EEE parts control board.
- Advise on alternative EEE components as necessary.
- Participate in investigations of EEE parts failures.
- Review and apply military and industry specifications for EEE components to relevant projects.
- Assist in developing qualification plans and screening requirements for EEE components.
- Contribute to the preparation and dissemination of advisories and alerts related to EEE components.
- Work in laboratory settings as needed, adhering to established procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position is available at multiple levels based on candidate qualifications and experience.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required due to the sensitive nature of the work.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in design reviews, product development, and EEE parts recommendations is essential.
- Familiarity with component selection, qualification, and derating for space applications is necessary.
- Experience providing technical support to material review boards is preferred.
- Ability to support project teams in EEE-related tasks, including document generation and review.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position offers a flexible work schedule.
- Some travel may be required.
BACKGROUND CHECKS:
All employees must successfully complete a national agency check, with some positions requiring additional clearance.

All employees must pass a pre-employment drug screening and may be subject to random testing.
