About the Role

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our Co-Response Program. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with law enforcement agencies to provide crisis intervention services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments and provide crisis-related services to individuals and families in crisis.
  • Apply the strategies of the Crisis Intervention model to help persons with mental disorders and/or addictions access medical treatment rather than place them in the criminal justice system.
  • Participate in cross-training with law enforcement and represent the program in a prepared and professional manner at community events and stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintain connections with law enforcement and community agencies by providing documented case consultation, program development, and problem resolution.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a related counseling field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in crisis intervention and 3 years working in the social work, mental health, and/or criminal justice field.
  • Experience working collaboratively with law enforcement agencies and experience in a training capacity.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
