We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our Youth Mobile Crisis team, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive assessments, diagnostic formulations, and treatment recommendations to clients in need of behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial comprehensive assessments of clients, including clinical interviews and contact with collateral providers and family members as necessary.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including client strengths, preferences, and behaviorally based goals and objectives.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services as needed, and coordinate care on behalf of clients.
- Document service delivery activities and complete required documentation, including consents, releases of information, and outcome tools.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions, and complete continuing education activities as directed.
- Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field) that meets the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT.
- Satisfactory CORI background check.
This position requires the ability to work indoors in a patient-focused setting, with occasional movement around the space and lifting of objects up to 25 pounds.
