  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to track, interpret, and report on key operational metrics, trends, and financial outcomes. Capable of conducting in-depth analyses while maintaining a focus on overarching business objectives.
  • Results-Driven Approach: A strong focus on achieving results, combining strategic thinking with tactical execution, and integrating technical, creative, business, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Business Intelligence operations within JIRA, ensuring metrics and updates are effectively communicated to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with Business and Internal teams.
  • Manage human resource processes for direct reports, including performance evaluations and compensation discussions.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor both existing and new team members.
  • Directly supervise both offshore and onshore teams.
  • Collaborate with peers to successfully complete BI projects.
  • Develop and maintain management reports for BI projects on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Work closely with senior management to inform strategic planning, budgeting, and priority setting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Director of Data Insights position should have a distinguished record of success and increasing responsibilities. Experience in the Financial Services sector, particularly with credit-granting institutions, is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Significant experience (7-10 years) in project and program management within a technical environment is required.
  • A self-motivated individual with high energy and a strong intellectual curiosity. Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on achieving results.
  • Ability to engage in hands-on tactical execution. Familiarity with contemporary cloud databases, data modeling, and BI software modules is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, mathematics, or a related field with a strong academic background is required.
  • Certification in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
