Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats in the global market.
  • Competitor Intelligence: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Geotab's competitors, including their strengths, weaknesses, and market strategies.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making and uncover new business opportunities globally.
  • Market Intelligence Reporting: Develop and disseminate regular market intelligence reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate market intelligence, and communicate findings to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field, such as Commerce or Economics.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in strategy, market intelligence, or consulting roles assessing companies/industries to support strategic decisions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the telematics/fleet management industry and its competitors.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve and make sense of complex quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
