Key Responsibilities- Facilitate Decision-Making: Analyze credit information to support lending decisions and processes, ensuring accurate and timely credit assessments.
- Maintain Client Relationships: Promote a client service environment to satisfy and exceed customer needs and expectations, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Make Credit Decisions: Make sound credit-granting decisions in accordance with Bank Policies & Procedures, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk exposure.
- Provide Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of client capital and credit risk, providing accurate financial analysis and risk assessment of new and existing customers.
- Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain accurate, detailed client information, ensuring seamless communication and decision-making.
- Develop Credit Information: Develop credit information to make lending decisions on new, renewal, and extension loans, ensuring timely and accurate credit assessments.
- Minimize Risk Exposure: Adhere to internal credit policies and procedures to minimize BMO's risk exposure, ensuring compliance and sound credit-granting practices.
- Experience: Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Commercial Loan and Credit Analyst Experience: 3-5 years of previous Commercial Loan and Credit analyst experience required.
- Functional Knowledge: In-depth specific functional knowledge and broad business knowledge, including strong analytical skills and exceptional quantitative analytics and credit analysis skills.
- Communication Skills: Highly developed written and oral communication skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the Internet.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under limited supervision and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
The annual base salary for this position is $80,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus plan. BMO Financial Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
