Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Lead

About the Role:
The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Business Analyst Group, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business solutions that support our mission to finance affordable housing in the state of Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate communication between business partners, vendors, and IT systems functions to coordinate system support solutions.
• Partner with IT peers to develop and implement business solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders.
• Gather and document requirements and systems operations to assist in the development or modification of a system.
• Participate in system development and maintenance decisions, and assess situations to determine appropriate action or solution.
• Monitor problems reported for existing systems, and coordinate business application upgrades and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide technical and business support to users, and identify trends in support of applications to provide feedback for adjustments in training and gaps in processes.
• Document systems, write and maintain guides, and develop and maintain systems standards and procedures.

Requirements:
• Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or 6-10 years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong prioritization, organizational, and communication (oral and written) skills.
• Experience authoring business requirements and technical specification documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and meet time-sensitive project deadlines.
• Working knowledge of loan origination and servicing systems or financial accounting systems is a plus.
