Customer Support Specialist

At Advanced Micro Devices, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact for OEM and Distributor customers, you will be the face of AMD, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage backlogs and ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Run and update customer-facing reports on open orders and billings activity
  • Track and accelerate customer deliveries in cooperation with the logistics department
  • Manage pricing and returns, including entry of special price agreements into SAP and checking validity of return requests
  • Support the sales team with customer and process inquiries
  • Manage and update process documentation
  • Provide transactional support using SAP, Excel, and web tools
Requirements:
  • Customer service experience with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • SAP knowledge or similar tool is preferred
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel
  • Flexibility and desire to work in an international environment

This is a non-exempt, hourly position with benefits. The ideal candidate will be able to work from the AMD office in south Austin on a hybrid model (2+ days/week). We are only considering local candidates.
