Role Summary and Qualifications:
We are seeking a motivated Radiologic Medical Assistant to help achieve our objectives. In this capacity, you will:
- Perform various clinical tasks to support healthcare providers and nursing staff, including taking vital signs, collecting patient histories, and conducting lab tests and EKGs.
- Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as instructed, and maintain cleanliness in examination rooms.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes and assist with front desk responsibilities.
- Keep accurate records of in-house lab work and audits of supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate closely with the Center Manager, medical staff, and front desk team to ensure efficient operations and high levels of patient satisfaction.
- High School diploma as mandated by state regulations.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Services program.
- Possession of a Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in the state of residency.
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care environment is advantageous.
- Ability to obtain BLS Certification within 30 days of employment.
- Must secure Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Drug Screening Certifications within 3 months of hire.
