Role Summary and Qualifications
As a Medical Imaging Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting timely and high-quality imaging procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
  • Performing quality control checks and audits on imaging equipment.
  • Conducting drug screens, urinalysis, and other laboratory tests, including specimen processing for external laboratories.
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs of activities related to lab work and imaging.
  • Adhering to occupational protocols and assisting with general patient care as necessary.

Qualifications Required:
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care environment is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiological Sciences program.
  • Current ARRT license is mandatory.
  • General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license as required by state regulations.
  • Ability to obtain BLS Certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Must secure Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment.
