Job Overview

Salary: Competitive Dual Rate $20-$35 per hour

Position: Part-Time / Non-Exempt / 24 hours per week

Hourly Compensation: $20 per hour for Administrative Assistant tasks, $35 per hour for Assistant Instructor responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:Assistant Instructor Responsibilities ($35 per hour):
  • Support clients in the CNA program in achieving their educational goals and career planning.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of educational services, track student progress, and assess the effectiveness of the learning program.
  • Develop and distribute course materials and relevant resources to create an effective learning atmosphere.
  • Act as a role model and ambassador for the organization, promoting its values and standards.
  • Oversee students' appropriate use of classroom tools and equipment, supervising interns or fellows as needed.
  • Evaluate students' academic performance, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Deliver lectures and facilitate discussions to enhance students' knowledge and skills.
  • Create personalized study plans for students, offering one-on-one coaching and mentoring as required.
  • Manage new client enrollment documentation and organize orientation events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Medical Administrative Assistant Responsibilities ($20 per hour):
  • Assist in scheduling, reporting, and coordinating educational activities and events.
  • Utilize knowledge of medical and nursing terminology to execute administrative tasks accurately.
  • Maintain precise and detailed records, demonstrating strong typing skills.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Provide general support to faculty, including managing communications and preparing materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Required:
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or CNA, Bachelor of Science in Nursing with RN certification (RN BSN) or related fields.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare or a related field, as mandated by Virginia regulations.
  • Proficiency in medical/nursing terminology and strong typing skills.
Preferred:
  • High typing speed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Google Drive, and data analytics.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are advantageous.
