We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Methods Specialist to join our team at RSM US LLP. As a key member of our tax services team, you will work closely with clients to provide expert guidance on accounting methods and periods, corporate taxation, and other tax-related matters.
Responsibilities- Work with clients to understand their tax needs and develop effective tax planning strategies
- Prepare and review tax returns, including federal and state returns
- Stay up-to-date on tax regulations and accounting pronouncements, and apply this knowledge to client engagements
- Collaborate with colleagues to complete tax planning and research projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure exceptional service and support
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Working toward the successful completion of the CPA exam
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax services or accounting
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting pronouncements
