Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Methods Specialist to join our team at RSM US LLP. As a key member of our tax services team, you will work closely with clients to provide expert guidance on accounting methods and periods, corporate taxation, and other tax-related matters.

Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to understand their tax needs and develop effective tax planning strategies
  • Prepare and review tax returns, including federal and state returns
  • Stay up-to-date on tax regulations and accounting pronouncements, and apply this knowledge to client engagements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete tax planning and research projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure exceptional service and support
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working toward the successful completion of the CPA exam
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tax services or accounting
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting pronouncements
