Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable Role Overview
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, matching, coding, obtaining necessary approvals, managing expenses, and performing reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness
* Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
* Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts
* Obtain necessary approvals for invoice payments
* Manage employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
* Maintain vendor files and ensure all required documentation is current
Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
* Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
* Proficiency in accounting software (experience with QuickBooks is a plus)
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
