Role of Loss Control Consultants at NAICO
Loss Control Consultants deliver essential services to help clients minimize or eradicate workplace injuries and various incidents, thereby managing and preventing losses for both the client and NAICO. The designated area may encompass Eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- Assessing clients' policies, procedures, and practices to pinpoint loss exposures and suggesting modifications to mitigate risks.
- Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing loss data on clients prior to on-site evaluations to identify underlying causes and conditions contributing to losses.
- Coordinating travel arrangements for site visits.
- Generating reports from client visits for underwriting purposes to evaluate coverage options.
- Staying informed by reviewing periodicals, magazines, trade journals, and other resources to understand current trends and developments within clients' industries. Compiling relevant information to enhance service delivery or to present to clients.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from an accredited institution along with a minimum of four years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in insurance and safety is preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in computer applications (particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe). Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
