Role of Loss Control Consultants at NAICO

Loss Control Consultants play a vital role in delivering Loss Control Services aimed at assisting clients in minimizing or eliminating workplace injuries and various accidents, thereby controlling and preventing losses for both the clients and NAICO. The service area may encompass regions such as Eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include:

  • Assessing clients' policies, procedures, and practices to pinpoint loss exposures and suggesting modifications to mitigate risks.
  • Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing loss data on clients prior to on-site evaluations to identify underlying causes and conditions leading to losses.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for site visits.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports from client visits for underwriting assessments regarding coverage eligibility.
  • Staying informed by reviewing industry publications, trade journals, and other resources to gather insights on changes and advancements within clients' industries. This information is compiled to enhance service delivery or to present to clients.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from an accredited institution and a minimum of four years of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience. Experience in Insurance and Safety is preferred.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in computer applications (particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe). Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
