Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Account Executive to join our Northfield Excess & Surplus (E&S) Brokerage team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of Account Executives and driving the growth and profitability of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of complex accounts, providing underwriting and risk management expertise to ensure optimal results.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including wholesale brokers and agents.
  • Lead and coach a team of Account Executives, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in underwriting, with a focus on E&S lines.
  • Deep knowledge of E&S products and the local insurance market.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to make timely decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
