Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Onsite, Oakland, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm

Type: Direct/Permanent


Overview: A distinguished research university is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join its team. As a key member of the administrative staff, you will provide high-level administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to senior staff members, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate travel arrangements, and make reservations as needed.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and conferences, including preparing agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
