About the Role

  • Direct and control all production aspects of the P&L via KPIs, quality assurance, and administrative segments of the plant operations.
  • Lead and develop a customer-centric production team.
  • Develop plans and budgets focusing on profitability.
  • Oversee the effective management of operations, scheduling, and on-time delivery.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of the business.
  • Accountable for financial performance of manufacturing from budget creation to actual monthly P&L performance.
  • Build relationships with customers and key vendors.
  • Select, develop, train, and motivate staff to ensure attainment of short- and long-term growth objectives.
  • Responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of broad management experience.
  • Prior experience building and leading teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of all functional areas (manufacturing, finance, sales/marketing, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with unquestioned integrity.
  • Intermediate PC skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet applications and web browser/internet navigation.
  • Strong planning/organizational skills, results-oriented.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate employees.
