Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the execution of fundraising and marketing strategies that align with the organization's mission.
2. Partner with the Development & Marketing team to manage grant applications and fundraising campaigns.
3. Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including digital content for social media platforms and email communications.
4. Maintain and update the organization’s website and social media channels to ensure consistent messaging and engagement.

Event Coordination:
1. Support the planning and execution of special events, including managing registrant lists and promotional materials.
2. Coordinate logistics for the Annual Flag Day 5K and Fun Walk, including sponsorship outreach and participant registration.
3. Manage fundraising pages for various events, ensuring effective tracking and acknowledgment of donations.

Donor Relations:
1. Maintain an accurate donor database, ensuring all records are up-to-date and comprehensive.
2. Assist in drafting fundraising appeals and managing the distribution process.
3. Generate reports on fundraising activities and donor engagement for review by the Development Director.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in fundraising and marketing.
- Proficiency in fundraising software, such as Raisers Edge, and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a positive attitude.
