Survey Project Manager

Ware Malcomb is seeking a highly skilled Survey Project Manager to join our Survey team in Denver, Colorado. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful management of field and office staff for multiple land surveying projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including coordination of each phase of the projects.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, serve as the client contact, and assemble consultant teams.
  • Ensure the financial success of projects and assist the Land Surveying Manager with day-to-day operations.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor existing staff to impart survey knowledge and develop team skills.
  • Review and redline created survey deliverables for quality assurance and product improvement.
  • Prepare proposals and research/cost estimates for future business pursuits.
  • Perform boundary analysis and related survey calculations.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Land Surveying experience.
  • A PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) Colorado state license is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED, associate or bachelor's degree in a land survey related program preferred.
  • Possess a high degree of understanding of the principles and practices in all areas of land surveying.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong computer and written/verbal communication skills are critical.
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD/Civil3D, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in title commitments, ALTA surveys, and subdivision plats within local jurisdictions near the Denver Metro Area.
  • Prior management of survey field and/or office teams preferred.
  • Interest in developing relationships with clients and local organizations to promote company business and the survey profession at large.

This is a full-time position that requires days in the Denver office. A hybrid schedule can be offered for exceptional candidates after a probationary period. The Survey Project Manager will report directly to the Land Surveying Manager.
