Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking an experienced Administrative Nursing Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our nursing department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage and supervise a team of nursing staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance reviews to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners.
  • Participate in hospital-wide initiatives and committees to improve patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in California.
  • Minimum 18 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
  • Minimum 18 years of demonstrated progressive charge or personnel management experience.
  • Proven experience in leadership, supervision, and personnel management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Certification in a relevant specialty, such as CCRN or CNL.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including The Joint Commission and OSHA.
