POSITION SUMMARY

Field Sales Consultants are integral members of the Utilities division within our Rental Team. They are tasked with meeting sales targets by overseeing Industrial and Commercial sales initiatives and nurturing business relationships to fulfill the requirements of Utility product short-term rentals.

In this position, you will:

  • Facilitate Short-Term Rentals of Utility Services Equipment to clients for diverse applications, including construction sites, events, and emergency situations, through in-person and phone sales outreach.
  • Promote Company Offerings by addressing inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and credit terms.
  • Enhance Customer Satisfaction by consulting with clients to resolve issues and provide continuous support.
  • Develop New Client Accounts by actively engaging in the field and targeting new industrial customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales-related role
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; relevant experience is essential, with a preference for a College Degree
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities
  • Ability to effectively present and sell to various customer levels
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks to meet customer needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

SKILLS THAT MAY CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR SUCCESS INCLUDE:

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Familiarity with generators and various types of Utility Services Equipment
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Previous management experience is a plus

POTENTIAL RELATED EXPERIENCE: Account Manager, Territory Manager, Territory Sales, Counter Sales, Rental Sales, Parts Sales, Customer Service Representative


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role:

  • Involves working in operational facilities and outdoors, traveling to customer sites where varying weather conditions may be encountered.
  • Requires the ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Involves driving to and from customer locations, where standard driving hazards apply.
