POSITION SUMMARY

In this role, you will deliver Level I IT Support and Break/Fix solutions directly from client locations. This position requires patience and the ability to ask insightful questions to uncover critical details necessary for resolving issues. The compensation for this role starts at $70,000, with negotiable terms based on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and configure communication platforms and user accounts.
  • Create and manage user accounts in cloud-based applications.
  • Oversee user access levels, permissions, and group memberships within cloud environments.
  • Implement comprehensive offboarding procedures for departing employees, including account deactivation and data management.
  • Provide technical assistance to users facing challenges with applications.
  • Establish and configure user accounts within directory services.
  • Ensure accurate setup of user profiles, including group memberships and access permissions.
  • Perform initial setup and configuration of laptops, including operating system installation and essential software installations.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of networking protocols, services, and security principles.
  • Exhibit effective communication skills for user support and collaboration with IT teams.
  • Show proven experience in network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Possess knowledge of Mobile Device Management systems and solutions.
  • Monitor security alerts and events to promptly identify and respond to potential security incidents.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years of experience in providing technical support.
  • Proficiency with current Windows operating systems is mandatory; experience with Apple systems is desirable.
  • Server experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with directory services.
  • Experience in cloud administration and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Experience with firewall technologies is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as Routing, Switching, and VLANs.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud services is a plus.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+ will be required within the first year of employment. Additional certifications from Microsoft, Apple, SonicWall, Cisco, and other IT vendors are desirable.
