Gopuff is seeking dedicated Operations Associates (OAs) to enhance our operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs are vital to our mission, embodying qualities such as determination, positivity, and enthusiasm for tackling challenges. This role encompasses a range of operational duties including the selection, packaging, and receipt of products both within our facility and associated kitchen (if applicable), while collaborating with our partner drivers. This is a temporary role with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and tenure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and package items for customer dispatch.
  • Receive and unpack vendor pallets, ensuring inventory accuracy against purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Oversee inventory management and the re-shelving of canceled orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and overall facility.
  • Manage waste and spoilage through strict adherence to FIFO practices.
  • Communicate with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items.
  • Safely handle, scan, and move products in an organized manner.
  • Engage in physical activities such as standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and walking throughout shifts.
  • Utilize carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment for product movement.
  • Handle products that may include tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol.
  • Occasionally work in freezer locations during shifts.
  • Be capable of walking several flights of stairs periodically throughout the day.
  • Prepare quality beverages and food items by following recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all food and beverage items packaged for delivery.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Receive and organize orders, resolving discrepancies related to expiration requirements.
  • Maintain kitchen facility organization and standards, ensuring resources are accessible while managing waste and spoilage.
  • Prepare, package, and stage orders for handoff.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Experience in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts).
  • General knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g., Google G-Suite).
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of assigned shifts.
  • Capacity to lift up to 49 pounds.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
