Job Summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bilingual Store Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to wholesale and retail customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
  • Build productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers, driving sales growth and increasing customer loyalty.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse, maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy.
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Stock shelves and set up displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Clean store equipment, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Assist in making deliveries, as needed, to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options and features with customers.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction, driving business growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal.
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
