Position Overview:

The Retail Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing all facets of store management, ensuring compliance with established procedures and company policies. This role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily store operations while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Drive sales and profit objectives by managing team performance and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead the execution of customer brand promises, ensuring a consistent and positive shopping experience.
  • Implement shrink and safety initiatives to meet organizational goals.
  • Utilize company tools to set, prioritize, and communicate objectives effectively to team members.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a skilled team, fostering a culture of performance management and talent advancement.
  • Exhibit positive interactions with team members and customers, serving as a role model for organizational values.
  • Assume the role of Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all store departments, ensuring cross-training among management staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience in retail management is essential, with a focus on leadership and team development.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate throughout the store.
  • Regularly engage in bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching activities.
  • Capable of lifting heavy items and accessing high shelves using appropriate equipment.

Work Environment:

This position is situated in a public retail setting, with climate-controlled areas for customer interaction. Some tasks may require outdoor work or exposure to non-climate-controlled stock rooms.
