Job Summary

The Paper Store is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Keyholder to join our team. As a Keyholder, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales goals, and maintaining merchandising standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide customers with a unique shopping experience by utilizing the G.U.E.S.T. service approach, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and consistently delivering world-class service.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Meet or exceed sales goals, maintain merchandising standards, and process customer returns and exchanges efficiently.
  • Team Leadership: Provide continuous coaching to improve sales and service, supervise the sales floor, and perform store opening and closing procedures.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Act as a TPS Champion, model the G.U.E.S.T. service approach, and consistently deliver world-class service; greet and welcome every customer warmly and with enthusiasm; understand customer needs by asking open-ended questions; explain product features and benefits in relation to the customers' needs; suggest additional items to build onto sales; thank the customer sincerely and invite them to return and shop with us again.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience and leadership work in specialty retail is preferred.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office and POS Systems.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work well and be a leader in a team environment, communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to be mobile on a sales floor for extended periods of time, lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 50 lbs., while utilizing appropriate safety techniques.
