Overview

The IS&T Product Engineering Systems division is in search of a Senior Program Manager (SPM) to oversee a prominent and transformative Next Generation PLM/PIM initiative. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be instrumental in leading the initiative that enables Apple to develop an enterprise platform facilitating Product Innovation, NPI lifecycle management, Design Collaboration, and Product Release management.

Role Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Senior Program Manager, you will be pivotal in steering the successful execution of our Next Generation PLM transformation initiative. You will create, manage, and implement the program roadmap while overseeing program-level dependencies. Your role will encompass managing the complete project lifecycle for large-scale and intricate programs. Additionally, you will identify and resolve program risks to ensure projects remain on track and achieve their intended outcomes. You will prepare and present tailored communications and reports to keep program teams, stakeholders, and leadership informed about program status, risks, and challenges. Your management will cover a diverse array of technical tracks, including application development, system integrations, data migrations, DevOps, and QA, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and high-quality results.

Essential Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Engineering Program Management, focusing on large, complex, enterprise-level IT transformation projects.
  • 4+ years of prior experience in software engineering with enterprise applications.
  • Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of enterprise systems implementation.
  • Expertise in leading system design, integration, and deployment, balancing technical and leadership skills effectively.
  • Adept at navigating a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent shifts in priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across various locations and time zones.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and a strong leadership presence.
Education & Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

Additional Preferences
  • Experience managing PLM, ERP, or MES programs is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package, determined within a specified range. This structure allows for growth and development within the role. The base pay range for this position is between $165,500 and $248,700, influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
