Role Overview
The Accounting team at Hive plays a vital role in ensuring the financial stability and success of the organization by overseeing all financial and operational processes.

Position Summary
As the Accounting Manager, you will collaborate closely with our finance and business teams to deliver exceptional guidance and expertise, ensuring efficiency and precision within the accounting division.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the VP of Finance on accounting operations to enhance transparency and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate accounting of costs and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Assist in preparing consolidated account schedules and quarterly reporting packages.
- Oversee the accounting and analysis of revenue and gross-to-net models.
- Contribute to modeling forecasted gross-to-net projections for insightful analysis.
- Participate in the annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors and management.
- Execute month-end closing activities, including analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial analyses and key performance indicators for the Executive team promptly.
- Support payroll processes and reporting as needed, adhering to relevant requirements.
- Maintain internal controls to mitigate risks effectively.
- Assist with local and federal tax filings and reporting obligations.
- Identify and implement process enhancements and automation to streamline operations.
- Engage in ad hoc analyses and projects as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry best practices related to data management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a Big 4 accounting firm.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Strong financial analysis skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functional areas.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven success in a competitive, entrepreneurial environment.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong ambition to achieve objectives.
- Critical thinker capable of anticipating challenges and exploring alternative solutions.
- Strong sense of urgency in addressing organizational needs.
